Why We Sell Panasonic Telephone Equipment

We believe Panasonic Phone Systems provide our customers with the best value hands down. Their business telephone systems are reasonably priced and work perfectly for about 80-90% of business customers. They have a great number of “bells and whistles” and are customizable to meet the needs of most small businesses. They may not have all the functionality of a ShoreTel system but they are usually less than half the price!

Panasonic equipment is reliable. They have some of the highest reliability rates in the industry! Phone system components come with a 2-year parts and labor warranty standard. Non-Profit customers get an additional 5-year warranty on parts at no additional cost. We couldn’t offer that if the equipment weren’t so reliable. That’s seven years for non-profit customers! We are not aware of any other company in the industry that offers such a warranty without a monthly charge or maintenance agreement to cover it. For profit, customers can purchase the additional 5-year warranties at reasonable prices, but we don’t recommend it. It really isn’t necessary. We can count less than ten Panasonic parts that have failed for our customers in the past 15 years. That’s pretty amazing!

Panasonic phone equipment is produced to be backwards & forwards compatible. They are the only telecommunications equipment manufacturer that does this. This means that if you want to upgrade to newer technology sometime down the road you can replace the “brain” of the system but, keep your phones if you like. Also, if you had an older Panasonic system in place & just wanted to replace the phones, you could replace just the phones with the newest model and they would work with the old “brain”. Almost all other telecommunications companies “orphan” old phones and systems each time they come out with a new system. A few years after they orphan a system they stop making parts for them as well & maintenance can become an expensive proposition as well as more complicated because you have to source used/refurbished components.

Panasonic has been making telecommunications equipment for over 30 years and has produced more than 100 million phones. We have sold other brands in the past, and do offer a few other options for customers needing specific features that Panasonic doesn’t offer or when the offering is a better value. We end up selling a Panasonic phone system about 90% of the time. We are one of their Beta Test partners so we know these systems before they are available to other dealers. We have input into what features they should be adding to existing as well as up and coming telecom solutions.
